Spoken Past is written, researched, and maintained by me, Caiden Pannell. I created the site from scratch because I wanted a space where ancient history could be presented with clarity, credibility, and focus.
Every article is the product of careful research. The aim is not just to retell, but to explain with evidence, keeping the writing accessible while grounded in scholarship.
Support helps cover the real running costs: hosting, bandwidth, storage, source access, and keeping the site stable as it grows. It also gives me more time to expand the archive, refine existing articles, and add features that make reading smoother.
